Hi again.....
Caught again and again in RJDs lyrics and images ...i cant stop my self from
writting such articles which hopefully u enjoyed on the last 2 issues of the MAN
ON THE SILVER MOUNTAIN covering 2 of RJDs and RAINBOWs classical songs STARGAZER
and LIGHT IN THE BLACK ...u can check the archieve section in the site if u
missed those past ones.
Moving to another band and another classical song .....moving to the band in
which i think RJD had his finest moments at all time and releasing which i
consider his best ever album ever released in his entire career.....HEAVEN &
HELL.......not only considered as one of the most classical and a must
rock.metal album ....H & H holds out RJDs most weird,strange,political and
serious images ever!
Talking about the title track it self ,H&H .....its definatly the most
political song image RJD had ever done!
whats more its the one of those rare RJD songs that holds alot of deep and
different meaning and images
all lying at the same one song! H&H!
Well starting the image ........well its about a guy ...simple guy .....a
citizen at a country .....it could be mine it could be urs it could be any
where around the world.......the guy could be u could be any body !
Image starts from the thought and images of what the citizen thinks of his
country politics or the ppl which he
supported and gave his vote for as a to take over and rule his country !
reminded of out they used to say and promise to do when they get what they are
at the moment ...from this certain point our image starts!

Here the Citizen is screaming in irony ......his asking the Politics to sing !
coz as they assumed before they can ...here the singing doesnt mean singing in
spefic ! its a decribtion to what the politics decribe and promises to do and as
soon as they become the rulers ....its all over! Its like some one that beggs u
to let hom go out and
sing on stage ...telling u that his a great singer and that his going to sing
all the stuff u like ....and starts promising u he wont let u down ....and after
the effort of getting him on stage ..u find out that he cant even scream ! whats
more ...he starts rumbling and roaming around the stage ..and u have no control
of kicking him out!

Blame me ,punish me ....do what ever u want ur my ruler .....and what do i
expect from such a thing ? what do u expect from a devil ?

Evil can never makes things up! they pretended to be angels and promised to help
,to do whats right ......
but as soon as u get what they are really are ...u will just relaize that all
what they promised to do are only
lies....a devil to help ? huh ..what a joke!

Even what u give is less of what u promised to do ...... just a big lie to try
and fool the ppl u promised to help
what what ever uve ever done to them ...its not even close to what uve taken
from!
it goes on and on......the situation which happens today will happen tommorrow
...a dictator will die and the other will appear .....its HEAVEN &
HELL !
The word HEAVEN & HELL ..doesnt only mean the GOOD and EVIL .....H & H
is the contrast ,the very deep contrast .....taking a deep look on the album
cover artwork .....we can see the angels sitting together...
the angels here represents the POLITICS......they pretend to be the pure
innocent angels that never sin or do any thing wrong....at the same time .....we
find them smoking cigrates and playing poker? how come ? angels never sins
? how come they say that they are pure and holy while they are smoking and
gambling around? here comes the strong powerful contrast .......here comes
HEAVEN & HELL .....the contrast ! the contrast bettween what they pretend to
be ...and what they are really are !!! something complety opposite
!...cant fit! impossible!

Who doesnt love life ? its definatly not a sin!.....u probably think ur gonna
live it just as u dreamed u will .......maybe after he passes away ....he will
defiantly die someday..they all will! but do u really think its going to be over
as soon as his out ? the end of dicatator is just another start and a begin of
another ....

The closer u get to the true ......the more u will relaize its far beyond a
dream.......the closer u get to true ...the more u will wish that its just a
crazy dream ur gonna wake up from ...someday !

Again and again ....over and over .......some falls and the other
rises.......still as they are... HEAVEN &HELL.....contrast never stops
......its goes over ....from now till judgment day .....

His inner consious screams.......why cant i be like them ? why aint i one of
them ? .....what holds me from being just like them ....how come my way of life
is right ....while most of the ppl are opposite to it ? why do i ahve to suffer
? iam i the one who say whats wrong or right ? what would i again to fool such
stuff that ive learned from my religion ? what will i get in the end ? is it
worth the fight against the tide and the suffer that ive been through?
Well at this point i will move the whole image to H &H live alternative
famous known lyrics ,which will defaintly help more to explain the image ......

Black shape ? what else could it be ? its certanily the devil!......his consious
and mind is having a fighthing contrast in it self!the dark side of his mind
...awakens!

His mind is really confused ......should he take what the DEVIL offers him ?
isnt this would be enough to fulfill all what he dreamt of ?all what he wants to
get ?

Burning in fire is symbloic here .....burning first in fire ...means that he
have to get rid of his manners,the right things he truly belive its right
......u have to get rid of anything that could ever stop u from getting what u
want .....getting ur DESIRE!

The struggle is really hard ...his mind cant accept such a thing ....while the
devil still insists .........u will have to decide between those contrats
...running away ...or goin down below...to the other side ....the EVIL
side!

The good side of his mind gets into the fight ! represented in an angel ...a
true angel......

Once again his mind is in a huge contrast ...is it really HEAVEN where he want
to go ? is it really the place that deserves all this suffer?

Dont think alot ...uve suffered all ur life beliving in something ...u suffered
all ur life living the bright side ......stay on the light side ......its where
u belong ....dont look after ur desires.......look whats wrong and whats right
.....dont be cheated by those DEVILS!
His mind cant take it anymore....he cant keep suffering ........he cant bury his
desires.....he doesnt know what heaven would look like ...he only knows that he
has the keys that open the doors of his desire ....his inner battle mind
screams.....

The fight neels towards the EVIL side as usual .......who can resist his
DESIRES?......the power of EVIL is expressed in the deceribtion of the DEVIL and
ANGEL it self.....the DEVIL is decribed as a "BIG BLACK SHAPE"..while
the Angel which respresnt the holy and purness is decribed as "LITTLE WHITE
SHAPE!"
BIG and LITTLE ! what a contrast ......could the little beat the big ? his mind
sreams i want to burn hell...anyway he wont be alone ......if his gonna burn in
hell he certainly know he wont be alone!

The contrats which is the main concept and body of the song appears once after
the other.......he cant stop the battle within his head ......cant decide wether
it be good( heaven) OR bad((HELL)!

They will always try to get u on their side ..........they will tell u that life
is spinning and moving fast .....u cant decide what to choose ....just so
u want .........the world is full of ppl stealing,killing and buring ur dreams
and desires.....so wether u become a king or a queen ...or ur gonna be buried
just like the others.....and once again the contrast is on and on.......

They will deceive u ......they will try to let u think that the BLACK (bad) is
just the good(white) right things .....they will tell u that there is no
difference bettween the Sunlight which represents teh clearness and purness and
the Moon at the dark....where its gloomy and mysterious ...and its really hard
to find the truth .......can u ever resist walking through a golden hall ...and
not even gathering some of the gold that falls ? what if u take some ....it wont
make a difference! its a hall of gold ...would it make a difference is u
fulfilled some of ur desires? ........again ....yeah ...its the contrast

Once again his mind screams ........cant u be just like the others ? why dont u
fulfill ur own desires just like the others?...his mind screams while his still
confused ....his calling him seld a fool ...although he still belive he aint one
.....his still looking for the right thing to do ...still looking at the
contrast......still havent decided...still looking for an answer.......trying to
get out of this .........trying to get on a side wether its HEAVEN or HELL
.......he must stop his mind battle.....must get rid of this........till then
.......he will stay caught between GOOD and BAD ...or in other words
.........HEAVEN & HELL!

concept ......coz if u can check out the artwork u would find one of the angels
...smoking and have a reflection of a devil in the mirror.....which leads us
back to the contrast ..with leads again to our main concept of HEAVEN
& HELL!
