By: Missie Cribbs

Mo: Can you tell us the title, and some of the songs on the album?

Dave: The album is called One Night in the Jungle, some of the songs include Don’t be Afraid of the Dark, One Night in the Jungle, Invincible, Primal Temptations, Freedom Reigns. There are a broad range of types of songs on the album, so I think everyone will like this.

Mo: Have people been approaching you about the new album, and what has been their response?

Dave: Yes they have approached me and the other people that played on it as well, and they all seem pretty excited.

Mo: Who are the special guests and who will be playing on the album?

Dave: Well, besides Nathan Horton on drums, Lonnie Park on keyboards, Jeff Howell on bass, and myself on vocals and guitar, I have two other people who performed on this album. That is Gary Bordonaro who played in THE RODS, sang back ups on seven of the ten songs on the album; and the second is a friend of mine, Mike Butler, who played a lead on one of the songs.

Mo: Has a release date been set?

Dave: Hopefully May 15th.

Mo: How many copies do you plan on printing up?

Dave: About one thousand.

Mo: Where will your CDs be sold?

Dave: Probably all of the places that sell CDs locally, and over the Internet.

Mo: What are your plans for promoting the album?

Dave: I don’t really have any plans. I’ll probably put posters up and spread the word, but that’s about it.

Mo: Do you plan on playing out together ?

Dave: Well there were no plans on putting a touring band together, but we may play a couple of dates this summer.

Mo: Is this just for fun or do you plan on continuing to write?

Dave: Well, I did have fun on the album, and do plan to continue writing and even do another album if this one does well.

Mo: In your own opinion, how well do you think the album will sell?

Dave: Honestly no idea! I started this project for self satisfaction , I had no intentions on selling the album . Personally I think the album is very good, everyone that played on it did an excellent job.
