Not only DIOs first solo album ,not only one of his best ever releases through out his own career, in fact Holy Diver comes to be one of the best heavy metal albums of all time Inspiring whole new generations of listeners and musicians as well ,presenting brand New heroes to the sence, such as Vivian Campbell who explored and proved his own talents through Such a classic.

Through Holy diver, RJD seemed to be at his highest vocal performance ever ,delivering the album tracks with a vocal performance that could be taught at schools! The real magical thing about RJD is not the way he sings ,not the way
He shouts, screams or cries nor the magic in his most powerful voice the metal scene
Had ever noticed, the real magic is how does RJD relate his voice and music to the
Concept ,image and experience of his songs, its very deep and spiritual ,his songs
Always has a goal his eager to show and express to the fans and through sound
And music he delivers musical classics which goes far behind the music ,communicating with the fans minds and spirit.

Caught In the middle ,not only one of the usual classics on the Holy diver album ,in fact it comes to be one of the best and finest songs RJD had ever released in
His entire career. Unlike what the song appears to the very first listeners to the song

Touching RJD songs ever !

The first image and scene of the song ,appears through a person, a man who fell in love with a women ,a man who haven't slept days and nights dreaming of his lover
A man who have waited years ,days and nights to fulfill what he always dreamt of
Getting in relation with the very first women he truly loved and always will.

Tragically the lady seemed to be in love with another man ,and it ended up sadly
With the man suffering spiritual and psychological pain no one had witnessed before!
The loss of his dream and love ,had opened a scar in his heart ,which may be never healed ever.

Years later and after a couple of hang outs with his friends strange feelings started to appear within ,it's a girl ,pretty one indeed, that's so special about her? He got to know her through his life time friends, meet after the other he started to get more attracted and closer to her ,something inside started moving ,a feeling he thought
He buried long years ago, a feeling called ...LOVE!

The song starts with the battle between the guy and himself, he feels that he fell
In love once again ,but still tries to ignore the one feeling which caused him
Misery once in a life time.

Exploring his own feelings ,he found out something he always tried to keep away

·     Vivian Guitar solo - This solo ,not only one of Vivian's most finest solos ever ,what's more it expresses highly the battle within the man and him self ,the parts where Vivian fastens the solos expresses the contradicting decisions within the man ,plus the addition of melody expresses the sadness and confusion as well..
