First off I want
to start off by thanking Rowan Robertson and his lovely girlfriend Angela for
their hospitality and kindness during my visit to the studio in Hollywood.

Also thanks to the rest of the band Kevin, Danny, Jason and Joe. These guys are
a great bunch of musicians and it was a great pleasure to meet and hang out
with all these guys.

 The atmosphere was very comfortable and everyone in the
band was very nice and all of them had a great sense of humor as they were
all cracking jokes and baggin on each other in a joking way during the
rehearsal. No attitudes with any of the guys in AMRADIO, just a bunch of
great guys doing what they love to do. 

After having said that let me tell you a little about the music of AMRADIO. The best way I can describe the music is its a blend of a modern alternative pop sound with a heavy cutting edge and very clean at the same time. Its very high energy music and the songs left me with a good feeling. One thing that really stuck out to me was the smokin
bass playing from Danny's end along with Joe's solid drumming. Rowan and Jason
seemed to mesh well together playing different guitar parts simultaneously
that went well together. Than the melodies of Kevin's unique modern singing
style compliments and seals up the package well. 

There was actually a pretty good turn out of around 25 or 30 people which pretty much packed the rehearsal space. During the last set AMRADIO played there was some guys in the studio audience saying "play some Dio" as the band was messing around
toward the end and rowan did play the intro guitar riffs to Stand up and Shout
and We Rock. Than the band improvised the LED ZEPPELIN classic Whole Lotta
Love where Rowan than busted out with his slide. It sounded pretty damn cool.

Well I had a fantastic evening thanks to the guys in AMRADIO and look
forward to catching up with these guys at one of their gigs soon. I want to
let all fellow DIO fans know that I highly recommend that you all check these
