DORMOUSE is a sleepy mouse
But this is not a sleepy house,

It's Honeysuckle Hall,
And Saffron Dormouse and her son
(His name is Tom) are full of fun.,
They're going to the Ball.

Yesterday she washed her hair
(All over) knowing she would wear

Today her smartest thing,
Her picture hat heaped up with fruit,
Tom has put on his sailor suit

And she her ruby ring.

Dormice in winter like to snooze,
Not now' Look at her party shoes,

And oh, what lovely eyes!
Her husband married her because
He thought her finest feature was

Their lustre and their size,
